Finland – Italy, Euro Qualifiers Prediction
ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR FINLAND - ITALY
Finland does not cease to amaze the football world. The Scandinavians recorded another victory – this time over Greece by 1-0. In a consecutive game, they did not allow a goal, and the only 2 goals they conceded at all in the groups were in the first match of Italy when they lost 0-2. Finland are very tidy and play with great self-esteem, which compensates for the lack of quality individually in some areas. Of course, the goal against Greece came from Pukki though a penalty.
Italy does not stop winning. Armenia became their new victim in last game. The Armenians didn’t make their lives easier with a red card in the first half, but Squadra Azzurra had to work hard for that victory. However, Insigne didn’t play, nor will it play in this match. The Italians are doing everything they can to avoid the catastrophe that happened to them recently – not to play in the World Cup, but here the danger of not reaching a new big international forum is negligible. After the first 5 games it is almost certain that they are guaranteed the first place, which sends them directly to Euro 2020.
Expert view : We expect this to be an even game. On the one hand, Italians are favorites not only because of their name and class, but also because of their shape. However, the Italians have additional motivation. Finland, on the other hand, tactically do the best they can and certainly do not come out as doomed. We also expect that the guests will not be so offensive but rather show respect for Finland and reduce the pace. For this reason, we think it is logical for Italy not to lead at halftime. Prediction – 1st Half – Finland or Draw 1.55.
Finland has as many as 8 clean sheets in its last 9 home games
Italy have led at half time in only one of their last 10 away games
