Girona – Ahletic Bilbao, La Liga Prediction

Girona performs fairly well this season on the basis of the team’s goals towards the campaign, which are simply a survival in La Liga. Their recent performance is very strong by losing just one of their last 5 league games, and by the end of the match by Valencia with 2-3. Girona, however, is one of the very weak hosts with only two victories at home and it came in September and October without clean sheets in them.

Athletic did something great against Atletico when they won with 2-0 at home in the last round and so they made up for the bad result against Espanyol before that. Their chances of getting into the top 4 are very small, but the top 7 is a very achievable goal. The Basques struggled for survival at the start of the season, but now their results got better, cause their performance is at permanent good level all season.

This will be an even clash for sure. It is hard to predict the outcome of such a match, where both teams constantly rotate strong with weak games against different opponents, so we do not know which face of Girona or Athletic we will see today. We are betting for at least one goal for the guests because of Girona’s weak play at home.
