Hoffenheim – Schalke 04, Bundesliga Prediction

Hoffenheim dropped the bomb last round against Bayern Munich. They beat the champions 2-1 at the Allianz Arena, which was only their second win since the start of the season. Hoffenheim are definitely suffering without Nagelsmann and this is evident, but in their away games they somehow play well against strong teams. Still it’s difficult for them to win. At home, they are much more open, though it does not go close to the extremely offensive football from past seasons under Nagelsmann.

Schalke 04 continues to rise. The club itself has done great things in the summer so as not to repeat this terrible game from a past campaign that has dragged them on much of their time in the fight for survival, though they have not stayed in the relegation zone themselves. Schalke 04 broke their run of draws (1-1) with Cologne, but the Miners still had just one loss coming from Bayern Munich. The other draw was against Gladbach in the first game of the season, which started in the 1st round of the Bundesliga.

 Expert view : We think the forces here will be leveled. We are betting on BTTS at 1.60 because Hoffenheim at home makes a lot more mistakes in defense and does not rely so much on it. We think that much more than Hoffenheim’s home games will end with goals and a spectacular play than their away matches where they close. At the same time Schalke have only 2 games in which they have not allowed a goal since the beginning of the season.
