Iceland – Turkey, Euro Qualifiers Prediction

ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR ICELAND - TURKEY
Iceland has been in a very weak form since the end of the World Cup. They have only 2 wins in the last 18 games in total, 2 of which came in the last three, but they were probably the most important ones because they are from Euro Qualifiers. The Icelanders were defeated by France 0-4 away from home, but it was expected. They have the chances of qualifying ahead and this match may be key to the 2nd place battle.
The Turks are unappealing, and they are stealthily marching on to Euro 20. They beat the world champion France and it was the third consecutive win in the group with more than 1 goal difference and the third consecutive goal without conceding a goal. The Turks are in great form, which has nothing to do with their games in the League of Nations. Turkey, however, must certainly improve its defense game in its guest appearances.
Before the match, the Turks accused Iceland of bad attitude towards the national team of Turkey. No doubt the game will be very nervous for a number of reasons. We expect to have goals because both teams do not show stability in defense overall, despite Turkey’s recent clean sheets. However, our forecast here is maximally secure – Over 1.5 goals at 1.46. Alternative option – BTTS at 1.90.
- Each of Turkey’s last 10 away games has over 1.5 goals
- 23 of Iceland’s last 25 matches have completed over 1.5 goals
