Inter – Lazio, Coppa Italia Prediction

Inter was once again exposed to Serie A in the last round, which is no surprise to the fans of Nerazzurri. This happened, when they lost by 1-0 in their visit against Torino, and let us not forget that happens not only in Italy, because Inter was eliminated in the most ridiculous way from the Champions League after the draw with PSV in Milano. Inter is a hesitant team that is still looking for revealing the potential they got, so actually Coppa Italia is probably the best opportunity for a trophy this season.

This will be 3rd straight game for Lazio with a big team after they lost 2-1 from Napoli and Juventus in the last round in Serie A, but let’s note that they played much better in the match with  Bianconeri and did not deserve to lose, but the difference in performance at home and in the visits, is great. Not only that, but overall, their results against strong rivals this season are awful, while against the weaker teams, the eagles are able to win.

Inter has already defeated Lazio 3-0 in Rome earlier in the season, so they have a psychological advantage over their rival. Perisic could leave the team, but this is hardly such a bad news for Inter who have many young talents in this zone. Still, they are also hosts, and this is one of the three biggest clubs in Italy, so we expect them to reach the semi-finals and most likely to win this game.
