Lille – Chelsea, Champions League Prediction

It’s definitely evident that Lille has lost some of their main strengths this summer. They sold Pepe to Arsenal, who was their star. Their problems are mostly in visits. In the league they have 2 draws and 2 losses as a guest. They also fell from Ajax in UCL, with 4 wins at home and a few goals scored. It’s important to note that Lille doesn’t have much experience in the tournament. They last participated in the Group stage of the tournament in 2012.

Chelsea could beat Brighton even 5-0 in the England in the last round in PL. Yet in the first half they showed a very strong game and had to lead, and before that they smashed Grimsby for the League Cup. They lost to Valencia in the first round 0-1 at home and missed a penalty, which was a great disappointment for the Lampard boys.

 Expert view : The momentum is on Chelsea’s side. We think the Blues are much better than Lille and can beat them as long as they have in the last 3 games. As mentioned, Lille doesn’t have that much experience, and they make easy mistakes. However, obviously the dogs are very strong in attack and we do not rule out scoring goals vs Chelsea. As we expect a win for the guests, we bet to make sure – Chelsea to score in the 2nd half at 1.60, because they are very likely to have to score in the 2nd half.
