Liverpool – Everton, Premier League Prediction
ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR LIVERPOOL - EVERTON
Liverpool save power and this is obvious. In every match, the Reds try to win with the lowest energy consumption possible and get the three points. This is a reasonable and logical risk as the season is very long and the intensity of the games is huge, especially for Liverpool, who have the busiest schedule of all teams in the world at the moment. There is a danger that Liverpool will think they are champions sooner than necessary and that the difference with the second one, whoever he may be, can melt. It’s Klopp’s job not to allow it, and for now he’s doing perfectly well.
Everton suffered a spectacular blow after losing again and were even turned away by Leicester last round. Even more disappointing is that they even outplayed the Foxes and still didn’t take anything away from the match. Their situation is starting to become tragic and Silva may already get sacked. Surely an impossible victory at Anfield would give Silva a chance to stay, but the Blues were in far better shape and Liverpool were far worse shape, and yet the Toffees have not won at this stadium in the league since 1999.
Expert view : We will bet a few goals here. Already in a previous analysis of Liverpool against Brighton, we wrote that the Reds are working on the clean sheets. Once again, we saw a lack of concentration on a player, in this case Alisson, who got a ridiculous red card against the Seagulls, and then it was unknown why Atkinson blew the while Adrian was still lining the wall and that led to a goal for Brighton from free kick. In recent years, Everton has been extremely defensive against Liverpool and we expect that to be the case now. Liverpool are unlikely to score many goals, given that they cannot afford to play 100% in all 90 minutes simply because they have to balance their strength for the next matches, and this is a very serious derby. That is why we are betting on Under 3.5 goals at 1.55.
8 of Liverpool’s last 9 league games have ended with under 3.5 goals
7 of Everton’s last 8 games have ended with under 3.5 goals
