Ludogorets – Maribor, Europa League Prediction

Ludogorets’ form has improved dramatically in recent weeks, but too late. They are already out of the Champions League. It might be quite difficult for them to get into the groups without considering how many good teams there are. However, the Eagles have met weak opponents in the Europa League and for now they are doing perfectly well even as Maribor is an outsider against the Bulgarian team.

The Slovenians have had a few losses recently, not only in the Champions League, where they dropped out of Rosenborg, but also in the league. However, they are doing well in attack, which is important to our prediction. However, Maribor eliminated Sweden’s champion AIK, and the Swedish championship was definitely stronger than Bulgaria’s. Maribor reached the playoffs to join the groups last year, where they dropped out of Rangers.

 Expert view : Ludogorets are heavily favored by bookmakers and we think they will almost certainly score a goal, but we also expect one from the Slovenians. Ludogorets are not so stable and concentrated in defense. They are a very strong team, which at times, however, literally “shuts down” and if there is a more serious contender against them, such as Maribor, then the Greens will have problems.
