Man United – Liverpool, Premier League Prediction

25 years have passed since that 3-3 at Anfield in which Liverpool reached the draw after 0-3. Then the fans of the reds raised the banner “Come back, when you’ve won 18”. United did it and even won more titles than Liverpool, and there has not been such a decisive derby between the two teams for a long time, but when there is we always see so many goals.

This is the game all of United fans and everybody involved with this club, have been waiting for. The Red Devils are also feeling frantically wanting to stop Liverpool on the way to the title. They will play at Old Trafford with no tension and will definitely play for the victory, so it will hardly be boring. United have shown that a poor match does not affect their psyche (the loss of PSG) and they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for the FA Cup. All eyes will be at Rashford and Pogba, who are the top Man Utd players.

Liverpool played a pretty good match against Bayern during the week, and due to a lack of precision and concentration in the front position, mainly in the first half, they did not score a goal and the last 20-25 minutes of the game were played at a low pace and Bayern got tired in defense. This is in the past. Liverpool is now facing the big test. If they manage to beat United, it will mean the Reds will make a great hit to Man City.

Our arguments that United will score at least one goal are, because they are at home, they play free, they attack much, they have great players in the attack, they are able to score goals, they will be so motivated for the victory, Liverpool will be under pressure, and their last clean sheet at Old Trafford was in 2014. Our arguments that Liverpool will score is, because it this is the team that is almost the whole season in the first place, because they have brilliant players in attack, because United will leave them spaces and because this game will be life and death for them. A great spectacle is waiting for us. This will probably be the biggest match between United and Liverpool in the last 10 years. Prediction – BTTS at 1.65
