Norwich – Hull City, Championship Prediction
ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR NORWICH - HULL
Norwich achieved something impressive in the last round and not as a performance and a result, but a combination of both. Canaries won “ugly”. This means they won a match in which they did not play well and were the weaker team on the pitch. Eventually, with a magical hit of Buendia in the start of the second half, they led in the result. Their only attempt on target went in and they won 1-0. This shows champions mentality, and Norwich is definitely heading for the first place and a direct promotion in the Premier League. They have 4 consecutive wins already.
Hull is not far from the top 6, but with their hesitant game they have little chance of getting there. The tigers did not make much effort last summer on the market, so it’s reasonable to finish in the middle of the table. In the home games, the Tigers have managed 7 wins and 1 draw in the last 8 games, but they are tragic with 5 losses and 1 draw in the last 6 in the visits, allowing at least 2 goals in each of those matches and in most of them not even scored.
Norwich will most likely come out with an extra good mood, because after each victory the confidence of the team is growing. Now they are facing a team with many defensive problems that just does not do well in their Championship visits. Tigers will hardly try to copy Swansea’s tactics from the previous match, because they will not succeed. Norwich has the strongest attack in the league and winning 1-0 is a rarity. We think we will see a more open match as most goals will be at Hull’s net, which is reasonable. Prediction – Norwich – Over 1.5 goals at 1.59.
- Norwich scored at least 3 goals in 8 of their last 10 home games in Championship
- Hull has scored 13 goals in the last 4 away games in the league
