Real Betis – Espanyol, La Liga Prediction

Betis was defeated by Levante in the last round and played very poorly. Overall the team is in very bad shape and the results are awful – 3 consecutive losses. This is not typical for Real, but maybe it’s normal after some funds were invested in the team and the results were not exactly what the management expected, and overall fans and players, to have demotivation at the end of the campaign.

Espanyol has as many points as Betis and for them the season is much better, because this is the limit of the team. They are weaker than Betis as quality. Surely the Catalans will try to get into the top 10 and the following year anyway. They have no losses in 5 consecutive league games and in the previous match they were quite close to the victory over Celta at home, but the guests did everything by themselves to catch up.

We think the Betis black series will be interrupted today. At home Betis plays better, and that’s logical. Espanyol, however, is a very poor guest in La Liga this season. They have only two victories away from home in the campaign as they came against teams that are struggling to survive and are currently in the relegation zone. We think the class and the desire for victory will be more for Betis in the fight and therefore prediction – Betis 0.0 AH at 1.60.
