Tottenham – Olympiacos, Champions League Prediction
ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR TOTTENHAM - OLYMPIACOS
Tottenham started successfully under Mourinho with a 3-2 victory over West Ham in a London derby in the early afternoon on Saturday. Mourinho said after the match that this team was a “gift” and he had no influence on the victory, but simply tried to help the boys do their best. It is important to comment here that during the time when Mourinho was not a coach, and this was practically about 1 year, the Portuguese definitely tried to change not only in football terms, but also somewhat in character.
Olympiakos did not show any of what they showed in the qualifiers before joining the Champions League groups. They made 2-2 with Tottenham in the first round of the group and then recorded 3 consecutive losses. They currently have chances for 3rd place, but for that purpose they will have to try to beat Red Star in the last round. Tottenham is unlikely to have any serious chances at this time.
Expert view : Tottenham has played mostly score games so far. In all their 4 games there were at least 4 goals. Olympiakos is not a defensive team, and is unlikely to go out to defend at Tottenham’s new stadium. With a new impetus and a lot more motivation after all the events at Tottenham, and especially after the arrival of the Special one, who has great ambitions in this club, we think it is logical for Spurs to score a lot of goals in today’s match, not to exclude they can conceded, too, because we saw how vulnerable they can be in defense against West Ham last weekend. Prediction – Over 2.5 goals at 1.56.
