Scotland – Belgium, Euro Qualifiers Prediction
ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR SCOTLAND - BELGIUM
Scotland were very weak against Russia. Their behavior shocked Captain Robertson, who criticized the team after the duel, saying he was extremely surprised that after Scotland led Russia they were scared and then the Russians took a 2-1 victory. With this game and behavior, it’s not at all difficult to see that the Scots don’t have much of a chance at the top 2 anymore. Even if they take 9 points from their next 5 games, which is doubtful, they will be 15 and Belgium already has so much, Russia has 12, but what is the chance for the British to get points against the 2 favorites?
Belgium have reserved their strength for this match. Mertens and Lukaku didn’t start against San Marino, but that wasn’t fatal, of course. The Red Devils again won easily, 4-0, but did not give much effort at all. Yet, obviously, fighting Russia for the 1st place will not be easy after the Russians pursue them inseparably. However, Belgium are very serious and hardly allow any surprises in their matches.
Expert view : We think they won’t do it now. Scotland is under tremendous pressure, and their fans are not happy. Belgium, on the other hand, are class above them and now many of the rested players will play while the Scots had a tough game against the Russians. Guests will score for sure, but we expect more than one for them. Belgium have proven to be absolute professionals who do not underestimate any game, so we are boldly betting on Belgium – Over 1.5 goals at 1.66.
Ever since Belgium lost 0-1 to France in the 2018 World Cup, they have scored at least 2 goals in 11 of their 12 games. The only one they failed at was against the Netherlands in a friendly match
Scotland has only 1 clean sheets in the last 8 home games
