Tottenham – Chelsea, Premier League Prediction

Despite the hundreds problems for Tottenham as stadium, lack of transfers, tireness, poor performance in the Champions League and so on, they continue to gain confidence and get victories in the Premier League. They are only 5 points from the sinless City, which is good news for Spurs. However, it has to be said that very often Tottenham have won games with a great deal of luck. This is especially true for their last match with Crystal Palace. Now it will be even more difficult for them to face one of the three unbeaten teams in the league in a new London derby with Chelsea. Tottenham have already lost two home games against other title contenders – Liverpool and the City.

Chelsea failed to defeat Everton in the last round and so did a second zero draw for the season. The Blues have already qualified in the next phase of the Europa League, so they can safely leave only reserves and youths there. Chelsea, however, did not have a single visit to a top 6 team this season. In their home games against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United there was BTTS as we witnessed many spectacular and quality matches. The good news for the blues is the forthcoming new Kante contract, one of Sarri’s main players.

Tottenham and Chelsea have always been involved in key clashes in recent years. It is the blue team who actually made Leicester champions after pulling 2-2 at the end of the match against Tottenham years ago. Tottenham was, however, one of the few teams to win against Chelsea in the Conte Champions season. Let’s not forget that 5-3 for Tottenham, when Chelsea again became champions with Mourinho, too.
